The Lamborghini Estoque was clearly the show stopper in Paris. This 4-door super sedan appears inspired by Lamborghini's completely insane l-million Euro, limited edition, Reventon supercar launched last year - which, in turn, was inspired by a stealth fighter jet.
Most Lamborghini's are named after famous fighting bulls, but this one is named after the sword that's used to strike them down. Perhaps that's why it's so sinister looking - so much so that you almost feel weary of going anywhere near it.
While this is Lamborghini's first attempt at a front mid-engined (referred to as such because it's mounted behind the front axel) four-door super sedan, they have tried their hand at four seaters before - namely the Espada, which, by the way, is also named after a Matador's sword.

The Estoque has to be the most stunning attempt at a four door super-sedan yet - much more striking than those being attempted by Aston Martin and Porsche. These photographs do this car absolutely no justice at all.
The front features a piercing nose with massive air intakes on either side. The rear has arrow shaped LED turn indicators - first seen on the Reventon. And the massive black alloy wheels definitely look as though they've been crafted from weapons grade material.
Lamborghini may be owned by sensible Germans, but concepts such as these clearly demonstrate that no one can remove the mean streak that still exists in this Italian supercar manufacturer.
