These days sophisticated luxury sedans are exchanging their tuxedo snobbish looks for an ber-class street scorcher presence. The Mercedes E63 AMG intoxicated with unaduulterated power changes the executive image of the E-class. The E63 might not have its sinful looks but it has a roaring powerhouse caged under its bonnet.
The normally aspirated 6.2-litre V8 produces 514bhp and backs it up with enough torque to fill the air with thick smoke. The E63 sprints to 250kmph in 4.5 seconds, giving the driver barely enough time to take a deep breath. The engine is lighter and just as fuel-efficient (if that really matters) as its predecessor.

The AMG E-class gets an aggressive running gear, bigger brakes and specific tuning for the Airmatic suspension, and the 7-speed automatic transmission. The E63 sits on larger 18-inch alloys, 8.5-inches wide up front and 9-inches out back.
Like any high performance Benz, the E63 comes with automatic transmission, although it has been upgraded from five to seven speeds with gearshift paddles.
