The Cento-fugal force has always been a part of India and its automotive history. From the Millicento to this, the modem 500, every single Fiat mass car has found its way to India, one way or another. The new 500 isn't a mass appeal car. Mass appeal, yes, mass wallets appeal, the car is three times as expensive as a contemporary hatch, but wait, you are paying for a car that's a CBU with every conceivable feature, so we can grant Fiat some leeway. It also looks stunning, a true flag bearer of the 500 baage, so expect attention levels the kind of a rock star.

Performance isn't its forte, chuggaibility is. The Multijet makes its appearance once again, so you get an expensive hatch that is cheaper to run I than many, even though it can't exactly four in comfort. You can however choose from among different colours, body sticker styles, interior accoutrements, trims and so on. But that's as boring as alphabet soup. What you need is the full-fat Abarth with its 135 bhp, god-awesome handling and detailing to die for. We hear it is being considered for India.
