At a time when the two-wheeler industry is dealing with economic recession, Suzuki Motorcycles lndia Limited have taken a bold step and launched the famed Hayabusa or the GSXR1300 along with the massive 1783CC cruiser, the Intruder M1800R in India. To be sold at an ex-showroom, the two bikes will be available in seven cities through a network of eight chosen dealers. Aiming to sell a bike a day (both combined), Suzuki has already trained mechanics and provided back end support to the eight dealers to cater to these two bikes. With the launch of these machines, Suzuki becomes the third manufacturer to be offering imported bikes to a select few in India. Yamaha introduced the YZF-R1 and MT-01 last year and Ducati brought in its range earlier this year.
