As good as the Jazz looks from the outside, for many it is an I equally boring car to drive. The 12-litre engine is just isn't powerful enough to get any grins on most owners' faces. However in this case, not only does the hatch look very hot, it performs equally well too Abhishek quotes that the max power has been bumped up from a rated 90PS to close to a hundred horses. However as is the case with most tuned cars, the Jazz here scores high on its improved low and mid*range. I drove the car repeatedly at lower engine speeds and found it to be quite responsive. It picked up speeds pretty well without a protest and throttle response too seems to have improved. For number seekers, the Jazz managed a best run of 519 second and 12.91 second for the 0-60km/h and 0-100km/h sprints respectively. Unlike the Cedia, it has to' be revved pretty hard before launching. No issues with the tyres losing traffic here - they were surprisingly very grippyl These figures aren't really earth shattering but considering that this particular car ran on power sapping wide tyres, the figures seem impressive Additionally, this Jazz reports a fuel economy of around 135kmpl in Mumbai traffic.
