SHIFTING WITHOUT CLUTCH

I am a big fan of BI and wanted to know if it is harmful for a bike if we up-shift without using the clutch? I also wanted to know what does "a stressed member of the frame" mean with respect to the FZI6?

Upshifting without using the clutch, if done properly, won't harm the engine or the gearbox. If you master the technique of shutting the throttle jus~ before upshifting or blipping it just before downshifting, then we see no reason why it should be harmful for the bike. In the Fl, the chassis braces the engine from the front, ending where the engine is placed. The engine is the stressed member here. The benefit here is the chassis is light weight.
