EVEN THOUGH IT IS THE SMALLEST AND PROBABLY

The weakest Ninja ever from Kawasaki, many around the world have been impressed by the performance of this 250CC pocket rocket. Some riders have tuned their bikes for added punch. Recently, Zack Millholland piloted this modified 250R to a record speed and the team claims this makes the bike the fastest open wheel, gasoline powered, four-stroke 250CC in the world. Of course there are faster streamliner, Nitrous or turbo bikes and two¬strokes, but the little Ninja is a four-stroke street bike and was kept
that way for the run. .

The speed run was done at the ECTA/Maxton (East Coast Timing Association) land speed event, where it set a record of 111.3mph or 179km/h! Mind you, that's the true speed! A stock Ninja 250R does anywhere around 145-150km/h true. The entire engine was built and dyno tuned by Chris Hill at Performance Psycle In Knoxville Tennessee.
