No more MP registered bikes for a while?
UTHORITIES IN MADHYA PRADESH HAVE put a temporary hold on the registration of new two-wheelers in the state. The action has been taken with regard to the High Court's ruling which requires the authorities to ensure built-in pillion safety features as per norms before allowing the vehicle for street use. These components include the grab rail, the saree guard and foot-rests. The authorities have also directed the dealerships to hold the sale of new vehicles until the High Court ruling reaches a final settlement.
