The Showa Big Piston fork is a genuine step forward in suspension. The weight transfer you get when you brake is much smoother and more controlled.
It feels different to conventional forks but it doesn't take any time to get used to. Racer Guy Martin attended the ZX-6R launch.
He wasn't looking forward to riding with the new forks but left with nothing but praise for the bike's front end.
