The one make races, which are quite popular in South-East Asian countries like Thailand and Malaysia, made their debut in India with the Honda One Make Race. HMSI organised the CBF Stunner Cup and CBRIsoR Cup at the Sriperembadur racetrack in Chennai from 31st October to 2nd November 2008The event gave racers the opportunity to compete on similar-spec bikes which puts the riders' individual talent to test rather than the output and tuning of the motorcycle.
HMSI organized the Stunner Cup for the novice racers while the CBR150R Cup was for the intermediates and experts. A proper race weekend gave the newbies an idea of how the racing world works. For the Stunner Cup
racers, Friday was allotted for practice and qualifying while Saturday and Sunday hosted Race One and Race Two, of five laps each. A total of 60 racers had registered of which the top 15 qualified based on their fastest lap timings.

Four groups of 15 racers each were made and every group was allowed 10 minutes of practice followed by 10 minutes of qualifying. First time racers like me took this opportunity to make their debut in circuit racing. I qualified lIth and finished in 10th position in the first Stunner Cup race. Varad More emerged as the winner of the first race while Sumit Lucas bagged the second race victory.
The CBR150R cup had a total of 10 entries and their qualifying round was held on Saturday for deciding the grid positions. Emmanuel Clarke won the
CBR150R race from start to finish with the fastest lap time of 2:08-491 on the full loop circuit.
