The Santro has been the reigning 'king' of the small hatch market. It continues to be extremely popular. The interior is not that smart but its quality and intelligent use of space cannot be ignored; neither can its overall packaging. Other features include a small nippy engine, slick gearbox, respectable fuel economy, agility, compact size, decent ride and boot, proven performance and reliability, great service and fairly low cost of running and maintenance. The brak¬ing is also quite good.
