The current Teana has been nowhere as successful as the Accord, but Nissan are still very optimistic about their flagship in India and are ready to launch the next generation version of the saloon. It looks very different from all other cars in its class. It is sleek and has a flowing form compared to its rivals, which have very chunky proportions. It is an extremely well built car with a luxurious cabin. It borrows many elements from its sister brand, Infinity cars. Infinity is to Nissan what Lexus is to Toyota and as a result, the Teana's cabin feels much more special than the Accord or the Camry. It will be launched with a 2.5-litre V6 churning out 261bhp and more importantly 324Nm of torque. It has an extremely refined mill well suited to the relaxed character of the car. Even the suspension is softly sprung isolating it well from broken roads and giving it a magic carpet ride quality. The rear seats are extremely comfortable and supportive giving it real limousine credentials.
