BMW Motorrad days have concluded at Garmisch*Parten kirchen, just shy of the Austrian border, within Germany. Over 30,000 BMW bike fans of all ages braved temperamental weather conditions to flock from around the globe (including us from India) and descend on the scenic town from July 1-3, 2011 in a giant celebration of all things BMW Motorrad. Apart from an action*packed party weekend with great live music on offer late into each night, affordable food and drink was available in plenty.
Guests could choose from itineraries including guided motorcycle tours on usually closed routes, live performances by stunt-god Chris Pfeiffer, autograph sessions with top riders including Troy Corser and James Toseland, riding Husqvarnas as well as BMW's range of off-road motorcycles on specially prepared tracks, and sampling wheely machines. The mega event enjoyed ajovial ambience and was perfectly organised.
