General motors announced that the company will introduce a vehicle that would be priced less than the cheapest offering from the Chevy stable in India. We reckon that this will be the smaller version of the Spark not in size but with regard to the engine. The Spark 800 seems to be the most likely contender. Tile CNG/LPG version of the Spark will also make its entry in the domestic market at the same time and will give tough competition to the likes of the Maruti Suzuki 800 and the Alto.
