The car that started the super luxury segment in India in 1996 has now got major competition. It was revamped with some two thousand changes part of a midlife makeover, but it still loses out in some areas like styling and agility to its more modern rivals. But the E280 petrol and the E280CDi diesel remain excellent cars and still command respect. It also offers a seven speed auto. The E200 Kompressor also battles on and is the entry level into the E segment. The E350 caters to those who want more power.
