The second most successful car from Maruti ever, the Omni is also the oldest model from India's leading car manufacturer, predating even the 800. Still selling in fairly large numbers the Omni is basically a van that has been pressed into passenger duty. Essentially a great value for money proposition, the Omni offers huge space within small dimensions and as such is very popular in smaller towns and semi-rural India. Great for negotiating narrow lanes and tight spaces, the Omni is dynamically far short of most small cars.
