The newly launched Honda Jazz will get a hotter sibling. Honda Siel plans to introduce the l.5-litre i-VTEC engine in the premium hatch. The engine makes around nops and is known for its enjoyable performance. The l.5-litre Jazz will certainly be a hot hatch, and it will be expensive too. Honda Siel claims fuel efficiency will be similar to that of the 1.2-litre, though. The addition of a bigger engine will further aid Honda's aim to promote the Jazz as more practical than an everyday sedan. Honda is also expected to introduce an automatic transmission in the Jazz range by the end of 2009.
