THE Honda V4 concept that debuted at Intermot last year is soon to see the light of production. The much anticipated VFR1200 has been spotted testing around Europe. The bike retains the front fairing of the concept but sports an accomodating seat and larger tail unit, fit for touring. The new VFR is aimed straight at the Suzuki Hayabsa and BMW K1300S and, rumours suggest, will feature a V-four engine with variable cylinder management (VCM). The tech allows the bike to be run only on the front two cylinders while cruising at lower revs and could make it the most efficient sports tourer in the market.
