I confess to being a little selfish when it comes to choosing a long-term vehicle for myself. By now, you must've been fairly acquainted with my dislike of the monsoons. The Activa proved to be an intelligent choice to avoid water splashes and muck flying off the wheels that would normally spoil my shoes if I were riding a bike. just love the Activa for the comfort and convenience it provides.
The last two months saw the Activa parked at my home and while I would use the Ritz to commute to the office and back, it was my trusty scooter that I preferred for everything else. This means the Activa has been with me during my every grocery-shopping spree, visiting friends in the vicinity as well as the frequent trips to the laundry. It also saves me a lot of time that would otherwise be spent in searching for parking space for the car. The front footboard comes in handy whether it's carrying my kit bag to office or picking up a cousin with his huge travel bag.
The Activa is now due for a service, not that it has shown any signs of distress but just a routine one. This also reminds me that there are a lot of jobs pending on the bike and when it comes back from the service station, it needs to have a side stand and a front number plate as well. This also reminds me that the registration number for the Activa too needs to be put as I am still running a temporary sticker.
