Both the races were in the fifth round were decided on the last lap and there was more than one occasion when a driver deliberately made contact with the one in front only to spin him out. Veteran driver Radha Selvarajan won the first race from Sailesh Bolisetti and C Rajaram, while in the second race Sailesh Bolisetti won the race from Radha Selvaraj and B Vijayakumar.

Championship leader Radha Selvarajan drove the first race in his usual dominant style followed by D Vidyaprakash. Sailesh who had qualified on pole for race one brought up the last spot on the podium. In the second race, Selvarajan suffered a valvetrain component failure on the warm-up lap, and D Vidyaprakash took the chequered flag followed by B Vijayakumar and Siddharth Kishore.
