I own a Maruti Swift diesel and wish to fix an aftermarket exhaust to it.

Is it possible to do so? And how would it affect the performance and fuel efficiency?

RaceDynamics sells bolt on HKS-branded exhausts that will work. Or you could try AutoMech who make custom exhausts for cars, or Remus bolt-on exhausts sold by Methods Automotive, If the exhaust is designed well, you should see more performance as well as a sweeter exhaust note. However, save for performance gained by losing weight, almost all other forms of performance upgrades come at the expense of fuel economy.
