Yamaha has decided to bridge the widening gap between the sober street bikes and the aggressive super sports by introducing a bike that will be soothing for the learners, the XJ6 Diversion. The XJ6 will use a 599cc, liquid cooled, inline four mill that produces 7SPS of peak power and 59.7Nm peak torque at 10000rpm and 8500rpm respectively. This engine basically shares its platform with the engine on the FZ6. The handlebars have been placed higher and the seat is sportier to lend the bike a sport touring character. The XJ6 will also have a variant sporting ABS.
