I own a 1996 Yamaha RXroo. I got the whole engine work done three months ago and the bike has completed 1500 + km till date. I recently installed a K&N RI060 free flow air filter on it and I am enjoying a slightly leveled up increase in performance (both in terms of exhilaration and top speed) with a mileage of 28kmpl. I want to ask that what else I can do to increase its performance and also do tell if it is right to fit front disc brakes with Apache RTR alloys in this machine.

You can get the engine ported by a qualified professional and also install an expansion chamber. It is possible to fit the disc brakes from the RTR if you also install the RTR's front forks assembly.
