All those who thought electric superbikes are a distant reality have already been shaken after the success of the TTXGP earlier this year. Based on the technology that powered the winning bike of the same race, Mavizen has launched the world's first production ready electric supersport bike, the TTX02. With 94bhp of peak power (54bhp of continuous power) on avail, the bike can hit speeds in excess of 200km/h. The TTX02 when delivered to a customer will have a chassis that is FIM homologated for racing and will come with a valid VIN number that is essential for road registration. A buyer also gets a host of high-tech features with the bike. These include the world's first motors port vehicle that comes with integrated IP connectivity, a USB based system that allows virtually unlimited number of peripherals to extend the capabilities of the machine, a swappable drive train and batteries at tracks ide. Deliveries start next year and Mavizen is planning a very limited run.
