BMW claims that the K1300R is the most powerful naked bike ever. Though it employs the same engine as that of the 5, the motor has been slightly detuned to deliver a maximum power output of 175P5 while the maximum torque remains constant at 140Nm. The R boasts of radical styling as well as newly designed turnsignal switches. Instead of a single switch, BMW has provided a left-side button to indicate a left turn with a similar one on the right plus a third switch to cancel them. The R also has an optional HP Gearshift Assistance.
