The CBX was one of the most sophisticated production street bikes of its time, primarily owing to its six-cylinder engine layout. The 1000CC mill produced 105PS of power and boasted of superbike bettering quarter mile timing of less than 12sec. Later in order to capture a better share of the market, Honda added a sport touring variant with a fairing and panniers.
