You can get a year-old Scorpio. It doesn't matter which diesel engine you choose, the CRDe or the mHawk, but you can rest assured that you will definitely get a peppy performer and one that will deliver decent fuel economy too. The light steering and clutch make this a very good SUV to drive particularly within the city.

The Scorpio has been around for a long time now and has proven its reliability well. Yet, if something does go wrong, you won't suffer a major hit as spares are not expensive. However, there are a few shortcomings. The suspension doesn't offer a pliant ride and makes you feel queasy. Also, legroom in the middle and last row of seats is at a premium. If you can live with these flaws though, the Scorpio is an excellent people-mover.
